“Personally, it’s a great privilege to say, I thank God for what He has done for me.” Sis. Dove shares that this new norm has brought her closer to God in that it has afforded her more time to listen to music – songs of the ‘Old Time Religion’ as she puts it, from artistes such as Tennessee Ernie Ford and the Chuck Wagon Gang, as well as “good old hymns” like, How Cheering Is The Christian’s Hope. These songs, she maintains, give her “a message to cheer her on the way.”
She says, “Whatever makes her happy, makes her family happy” so as her family members equip her with useful technological devices to assist her in navigating YouTube and other social media platforms, she is blessed and drawn closer to her family as well.
She keeps thinking of Joshua 24:15, where Joshua declares that he and his household will serve the Lord. She desires this, not just for her kinfolks, but her prayer is that “If it pleases God that we get back together as the family of God, there will be a transformation for the glory of God.”
