Pastor Kurt Thomas, Senior Pastor

Sixty-four years. Generations of young people. A lifetime of faithful service.

The Apple Creek Seventh-Day Adventist Church family has a very special reason to celebrate. Our own Sister Judi Ince has been honoured for an extraordinary 64 years of dedicated service to Adventurer and Pathfinder Ministry, a remarkable milestone representing more than six decades of commitment to children, youth, leadership, and the mission of the Church.

This recognition is about much more than the number of years served. Behind those 64 years are countless young lives influenced, lessons taught, programs supported, leaders encouraged, prayers offered, and hours willingly given. Sister Judi has invested her gifts, experience, energy, and faith in helping generations of children and young people develop Christian character, leadership skills, a heart for service, and, most importantly, a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Adding even greater significance to this milestone, Sister Judi was honoured by the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists in recognition of her exceptional contribution to Adventurer and Pathfinder Ministry. The recognition was presented by Pastor Alfred Asiem, Associate Youth Director of the General Conference, who is pictured with Sister Judi during this memorable occasion.

What makes 64 years of ministry so extraordinary is the generational impact. Some of the young people Sister Judi helped to nurture have grown into adults, parents, church members, and leaders themselves. The seeds planted through faithful ministry decades ago continue to bear fruit today. That is the beauty of Christian service: we may never fully know on this side of eternity how far the influence of one faithful life can reach.

The uniform Sister Judi wears carries honours and symbols of achievement, but perhaps her greatest honour cannot be pinned to a uniform—the lives into which she has faithfully poured and the legacy she continues to leave for those coming behind her.

Scripture beautifully reminds us:

“For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love.” — Hebrews 6:10

On behalf of the pastoral team and the entire Apple Creek Seventh-Day Adventist Church family, we extend heartfelt congratulations to Sister Judi Ince on this distinguished General Conference recognition.

Sister Judi, thank you for 64 extraordinary years of faithful service. Apple Creek honours you, celebrates you, and gives God thanks for the remarkable legacy you continue to build.

May the Lord continue to strengthen you, bless you, and allow your life and ministry to inspire another generation to answer God’s call to serve.

Congratulations, Sister Judi! Your Apple Creek family celebrates this remarkable milestone with you.
