Mission Statement

  • Providing a location for social interaction, recreation, basic support and a place where questions can be answered and solutions for problems found.

Description

  • Social experiences with one another and laughter;
  • Embracing differences in skills, knowledge, cultural heritage, and ethnicity.

We have monthly meetings on the first Tuesday of every month from April to December.

We fellowship with songs and devotionals, share a meal and have a speaker on relevant topics such as diet, exercise, scams and fraud, abuse, (physical, emotional & financial) fire prevention, fall prevention, walking club, taking of medications & side effects, various diseases, games, picnics, bus trips to places of interest around Ontario, boat cruises on the various lakes, native log house, Mennonite market in Waterloo, yard sale. We also assist the community services department in feeding the needy. In December of every year, we usually
have a banquet or a lunch for everyone to celebrate the holiday season.

Having great interaction and fun with one another, we draw accumulated wisdom of our members towards life-long, well-being which benefits the larger community.
