The mission of the Adventurer Club is to strengthen parent-child relationships while simultaneously nurturing the child’s development in spiritual, physical, mental and social areas. A place for children to commit, at their own level and at their own pace, their hearts and live to Jesus Christ.
Mission Statement
Description
- Parent-Child Bond – The Adventurer Club aims to strengthen the parent-child bond by providing specialized weekly activities tuned into the psychological needs of this age group (ages 4-9).
- Parents have opportunities for learning parenting skills and enjoying special activities with their children.
- Age-Appropriate Activities – Each child is encouraged to participate in various activities including games, outdoor adventures, nature exploration, family camping, field trips, and community service projects. These activities are tailored to the child’s developmental stage.
- Curriculum and Awards – The program uses a five-level age-specific curriculum covering areas such as crafts, nature, recreation, spiritual development, and home arts. Approximately 80 specialized award areas are included.
- Philosophy – The Adventurer Club seeks to help children grow joyfully in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and man. It’s a holistic ministry where the church, home, and school collaborate to nurture children’s well-being.
