Three Souls Respond to Christ as Metro East Churches Unite in Revival and Evangelism

“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you…” Acts 1:8 (KJV)

To God be the glory!

What a wonderful experience of spiritual renewal, biblical teaching, and Christian fellowship we witnessed during the recently concluded Metro East Ministerial Region Revival and Evangelistic Series, held under the inspiring theme “The King Is Coming: Spiritual Empowerment for a Greater Impact.”

This collaborative initiative brought together Apple Creek, Scarborough, and Toronto East Seventh-Day Adventist Churches, united in the mission of proclaiming the everlasting gospel and preparing hearts for the soon return of Jesus Christ.

The series commenced at Apple Creek, October 11–16, continued at Scarborough, October 17–23, and concluded at Toronto East on October 24, 2026.

Three Precious Souls Respond to Jesus!

Among the greatest blessings of this initiative was the wonderful news that three precious individuals made decisions to surrender their lives to Jesus Christ!

What a reason to rejoice!

Jesus reminds us in Luke 15:10 that there is joy in the presence of God’s angels over one sinner who repents. We therefore celebrate these decisions with thanksgiving, recognizing that the greatest accomplishment of evangelism is seeing lives drawn into a saving relationship with our Lord.

As these individuals continue their spiritual journeys, let us surround them with prayer, Christian friendship, Bible study, and encouragement.

Powerful Preaching, Soul-Searching Messages, and Biblical Truth

Throughout the series, our congregations were richly blessed by the ministry of God’s servants, whose preaching brought encouragement, conviction, and renewed spiritual purpose.

The revival speakers were Pastors Christopher Johnson and Donville Cooper, along with Dr. Preston Patterson, whose messages called believers to spiritual awakening, deeper consecration, and a renewed dependence upon the Holy Spirit.

The evangelistic presentations featured Pastors Andre Anderson, Fedinand Regalado, Fritz Francois, Ha Rim Ji, Jayson Levy, Kurt Thomas, Mark Ewen, and Nicholas Patrick.

What a powerful ministry of the Word we experienced!

Night after night, the evangelistic presenters delivered dynamic, engaging, biblically grounded, and deeply soul-searching sermons that challenged the mind, stirred the heart, and called listeners to examine their personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Indeed, many congregants testified to experiencing the power and presence of God through the preaching of His Word. Some spoke of being deeply encouraged, while others expressed how the messages challenged their spiritual priorities, renewed their faith, and inspired them to draw closer to the Saviour.

There were moments of excitement, solemn reflection, and heartfelt conviction as the Scriptures came alive through the preaching of the gospel.

A significant emphasis was placed on the 28 Fundamental Beliefs of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, helping participants gain a clearer understanding of the biblical foundations of our faith.

Yet the beauty of these presentations was that biblical doctrines were not merely explained as theological concepts. They were presented as living truths centred in Jesus Christ, calling individuals to experience His saving grace and transforming power.

We sincerely commend every presenter for allowing God to use their gifts in such a meaningful way.

The preaching was powerful, the message was relevant, and the call to surrender to Jesus was unmistakable!

A Special Thank You to Our Apple Creek Church Family

I wish to express my heartfelt appreciation to the Apple Creek Seventh-Day Adventist Church family for graciously hosting the opening week of this regional initiative for the first time.

Our congregation demonstrated a beautiful spirit of hospitality, commitment, and cooperation in welcoming participants and supporting the nightly meetings.

Special thanks to our elders, deacons and deaconesses, Prayer Ministries, Music Ministry, Audio-Visual and Communications teams, hospitality volunteers, and everyone who contributed to the planning and execution of the programme.

Your willingness to serve, whether publicly or behind the scenes, helped create a meaningful environment for worship, fellowship, and the proclamation of God’s Word.

Sincere appreciation is also extended to our sister congregations at Scarborough and Toronto East for their partnership and contributions throughout the series.

To everyone who attended, invited a friend, shared the online meetings, or supported this initiative through prayer, thank you for helping to advance the mission of the church.

From Revival to Mission: The Work Continues

As we reflect upon the blessings of this series, we are reminded that the true impact of evangelism extends far beyond the final sermon.

The spiritual interest generated, the biblical truths presented, and the decisions made for Christ provide opportunities for continued ministry.

We must now build upon this experience through personal witnessing, ongoing Bible studies, intentional discipleship, and meaningful engagement with our communities.

Our responsibility is not simply to introduce individuals to Jesus Christ but to walk alongside them, helping them develop a growing, personal relationship with their Saviour.

As Jesus declared in John 4:35:

“Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.”

The Metro East initiative has reminded us of the tremendous possibilities that emerge when churches unite in purpose, pastors collaborate in ministry, and members embrace their personal responsibility to share the gospel.

May the spiritual renewal experienced during these meetings continue to inspire greater faithfulness, deeper consecration, and an increased passion for soul-winning.

The meetings have concluded, but our mission continues!

Let us remain prayerful, united, and committed to reaching others with the transforming message of Jesus Christ.

Three souls have responded. Our faith has been strengthened. Our mission remains clear. And our King is coming!

To God be all the glory!
