There are moments in the life of a church that leave an everlasting imprint on our hearts. This past Sabbath was one such occasion as the Apple Creek Seventh-day Adventist Church experienced a glorious outpouring of God’s presence through inspiring worship, heartfelt fellowship, and the powerful preaching of His Word.
It was our great privilege to welcome the Metropolitan Adult Choir from Hyattsville, Maryland. Their ministry in song was a tremendous blessing to our congregation. With over fifty voices united in praise, they reminded us that music is far more than melody—it is ministry. Every selection drew us closer to Christ, uplifted our spirits, and inspired us to worship the Lord with renewed joy and devotion. We extend our sincere appreciation to every choir member, musician, director, and leader for sharing your God-given gifts with the Apple Creek family.
We were equally blessed by the timely and Spirit-filled message presented by Dr. Fraser. Through the power of God’s Word, he challenged us to deepen our walk with Christ, strengthen our faith, and remain steadfast in our commitment to the Lord. His message came at just the right time and served as a reminder that God continues to speak to His people through faithful servants who proclaim His truth with conviction and grace.
Such a remarkable weekend could only have been accomplished through the dedication and teamwork of many faithful servants. I wish to express heartfelt appreciation to Zoe Rhoden, Head of the Music Department, whose outstanding leadership and coordination helped make this worship experience such a tremendous success.
My sincere gratitude is also extended to Elder Pam Langdon, Pauline Christian, Rhondale, Clive Williams, Angelina, Patricia Longmore, Leanne, Gloria Mitchell, Ney, Annette Guerra, and Macarius, whose commitment, diligence, and willingness to serve behind the scenes reflected the very spirit of Christian excellence and servant leadership.
A special word of appreciation is extended to Brother Derrick A. Hall, whose sacrificial ministry in coordinating ground transportation ensured that every guest arrived safely and was cared for with warmth and efficiency throughout the weekend. His faithful service exemplified Christ’s call to serve others with humility and love.
I also extend profound thanks to our faithful Deacons and Deaconesses, the Hospitality Team, Treasury Team, Ushers, and the Communications Team. Whether greeting worshippers with a smile, managing logistics, supporting worship, handling finances, providing technical excellence, or serving quietly behind the scenes, each ministry played a vital role in creating an atmosphere where Christ was exalted, and every guest felt welcomed.
This unforgettable weekend reminded us that when every member embraces their spiritual gifts and serves together in unity, God accomplishes extraordinary things. The music lifted our hearts, the preaching strengthened our faith, and the fellowship reflected the beauty of the body of Christ working together in harmony.
As your pastor, I thank every volunteer, every ministry leader, every participant, and every member whose prayers, preparation, and faithful service contributed to this sacred occasion. While we celebrate the excellence displayed throughout the weekend, we give all honour, praise, and glory to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, for without Him none of this would have been possible.
